Who are our Interns and what are they here to learn?
BCP Supported Internships are designed to give young people with Education Health Care Plans the opportunity to gain transferable work skills. The programme combines work placements with education. Once students complete the programme they graduate with the skills and experience that will support them in being able to gain employment in future. Within this one-year programme students will go out on differnt work placemnets and try differt roles In BCP!
Communications and Newsletter Rotation
As part of developing corporate communications skills, Tommy and Joe, 2022 Interns, devised a request for the Chief executive this week and wanted to ask him some key questions!
Meeting with Graham Farrant, BCP Councils Chief executive via Teams, the Interns had oportunity to check with their new employer what the council's priorities were around SEND friendly employment as well as getting some great advise for starting their careers.
