About

Welcome to BCP’s brand new hub for Key Stage 2 STEM support. Within this area you will find information and support aimed at students in KS2 which can be used

  • in class learning,

  • internal and external visits and

  • recorded sessions.

 

These resources and opportunities are designed (from) by experts to enhance individual skills and independence. By teaching young learners the value of problem solving, critical thinking and creativity they can gain skills not seen in other areas. There is strong evidence that introducing STEM early on can encourage a love for learning and help young people perform better at school.

 

This page contains a large range of resources, from a toolkit to be used in class, including a postcard to help KS2 to KS3 transition in maths, to recorded sessions, potential visitors to school and trips out. They are designed to be fun and engaging to teach children skills that can be used across a variety of industries later in life.
