WithYou is commissioned by BCP Council to provide help and support for adults and young people living in the area, to cut down or stop drug or alcohol use.
Offering free, confidential and non-judgmental services, the WithYou teams operate across the whole of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, so no matter where people live they can access the support they need.
The types of support offered include different forms of psychosocial interventions in individual, group and/or workshop settings, clinical support through substitute medication, support for family and friends, access to inpatient detoxification and residential rehabiliation and harm reduction services that provide needle and syringe exchange, blood borne virus testing and ‘take home’ naloxone for people at risk of an opiate overdose.
Specialist assertive outreach support is also available for people over 55 years old, people involved in the criminal justice system and people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness because of alcohol or drug use. Evening support is also available for people who are at work during the day.
