We are an arm’s length from the Local Authority, and do not share your information with the Local Authority without your consent (unless there is an urgent safeguarding concern).
The SENDiass4BCP advice line is open Monday-Thursday, 09:30-12:30 on 01202 128181.
Parent/Carers and YP (16+) refer themselves to the service directly through email or telephone.
We do not accept referrals from other professionals. We ask that professionals mediate contact between the parent/carer, child or young person i.e. by phoning the service with them and passing the phone over. In exceptional circumstances where there are barriers to mediated contact, professionals may discuss the anonymised situation with SENDiass4BCP and a decision can be agreed regarding next steps.
