Lets go Zero
Let's Go Zero's Climate Action Advisors are a network of free, independent experts who can support schools on their journey to become zero carbon - helping you go further, faster with your plans to take action on climate. They can help you to meet the DfE expectation that all schools have a sustainability Lead and Climate Action Plan in place by September 2025. They will meet schools where they are and offer a bespoke service, tailored to your setting, helping you to join the dots and develop a plan that tackles full-scope emissions across a range of pillars in your school, including energy, water, waste, transport, food, nature, green skills and careers, curriculum, adaptation and resilience.
Climate Action Advisors - Lets Go Zero
Workshops - a series of two online workshops (or we can run several 'cohorts' if lots of schools are interested, or could do in person if there was demand).
1) The first would introduce Let's Go Zero, the DfE's expectation for Climate Action Plans for all schools, and introducing the Eco School's Count Your Carbon Tool. We would then ask all the schools to gather the data needed and calculate their school's carbon footprint.
2) The second workshop walks the schools through each of the 'pillars' of the Climate Action Plan, with a menu of suggested actions that schools can pick from to include in their plans.
